1) How do I sign up for volunteer jobs?
The easiest way to sign up for volunteer jobs is during registration. During this process, you will have the option to choose your desired role and shift based on availability.
If you haven't signed up during registration, log into your Swimtopia account. Click the Calendar link at the top of the page and scroll down to see each scheduled event which will be tagged as open, closed or pending for job signup.
Click on the green Job Sign-up link to register to work a specific meet or event job.
A list of all meet jobs available for sign-up will be displayed with shift times, slots filled and points (if applicable).
Select the checkbox next to your preferred job and click the Save Assignments button.
You may see a volunteer job confirmation window with a link to go back and sign-up for job shifts.

2) How do I see what jobs I've signed up for?
Log into your Swimtopia account. Click the Calendar link at the top of the page and scroll down to the meet or event you want to check.
Click on the Job Sign Up button. Note: The button will indicate the sign up is closed but you will still be able to view any jobs you've signed up for.
Any family member that has signed up to volunteer for the meet or event you selected will appear.

3) How do I change my volunteer job or shift?
If the job sign up for a meet or event is open, log into your Swimtopia account. Click the Calendar link at the top of the page and scroll down to the meet or event you would like to change.
Click on the green Job Sign-up link to see the list of all meet jobs available for sign-up.
Select the checkbox next to your preferred job and click the Save Assignments button.
If the job sign up for a meet or event is closed, you must complete the Volunteer Switch Request Form to switch with another volunteer. The deadline to request a switch is two days prior to the meet or event and must be approved by the Volunteer Coordinator.
4) I am no longer able to fulfill the role or shift I signed up for. What do I do?
We need everyone’s time and talents to ensure we can compete at each meet, as well as provide a safe and fun environment for our swimmers. But we know life happens. If you are no longer able to fulfill your volunteer job, complete the Volunteer Switch Request Form no later than one day prior to the meet or event. All requests must be approved by the Volunteer Coordinator. Day of requests will not be honored.
As a reminder, families that do not fulfill their volunteer obligations will be assessed a $75 fine per missed shift and their swimmer(s) will not be able to participate in swim team activities until that fine is paid.
