Swimmers are responsible for buying their own tickets and will need to provide their own transportation and have a guardian at the park with them—COACHES are NOT there to supervise, they’re there to have fun with the team! Community Engagement: Comfort Zone Camp Swimathon

CHURCH RUN ROCKETS ARE MAKING A SPLASH FOR GRIEVING KIDS! WHAT: On Friday, June 20, Church Run Rockets are swimming to help send grieving kids to Comfort Zone Camp! The 10 and under practice will be from 8:30-9:30 and the 11 and overs will be from 9:30-10:30. Please mark it on your calendar for your swimmers to come as this is an important fundraiser to support this awesome organization. Let’s come together as a team and raise money to send kids to camp! WHY: There are very few resources for grieving kids, with even fewer free of charge. At camp, they rediscover being a kid again with people who "get it", and learn healthy ways to manage their grief. ABOUT COMFORT ZONE CAMP Comfort Zone Camp offers FREE weekend camps to bereaved kids, young adults, and their parents/guardians. Founded in 1998 in Richmond, VA, CZC is a non-profit that transforms the lives of grieving children. On Friday, June 20 CRR will be having a SWIM-A-THON to support CZC! There will be music, snacks, prizes and fun as you swim to raise money! Don't forget to share the donation link with grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends and neighbors to help you support CZC and CRR! Bring your tracking form (linked below) to the swim-a-thon and you'll get ONE raffle ticket for EVERY $10 donated on your behalf!
